Careful assessment and consultation with you will ensure a successful treatment plan. The following steps are taken to complete a comprehensive cosmetic assessment.
Colour photographs of your teeth and face are taken which provides a reference point from which to start.
Plaster models help us assess arch shape and bite. These are made from impressions taken of your teeth.
An Orthopantomogram (OPG) x-ray is taken. This dental x-ray provides an image of the jawbone and entire arrangement of teeth. An OPG helps us assess bone structure, tooth structure and the presence of any pathology.
Your expectations and requirements are discussed and then an in mouth mock up will be done to help you decide upon and visualize what your new smile will look like.
A visit to meet the technician who will be doing the ceramic work ensures that the technician understands your face, teeth and the result you are aiming for.
A treatment plan will be developed outlining the overall treatment required, appointments and costs involved.
