CEREC Restoration
A CEREC or Chairside Economical Restorations of Esthetic Ceramic is a computerized software and milling unit which produces restorations such as veneers, crowns, large fillings and replacement of old silver fillings. A CEREC looks like a natural tooth, is extremely durable and fits precisely. Unsightly amalgam fillings can be replaced with CEREC restorations in one visit.
Treatment - One Visit
- The old filling is removed and the tooth is prepared for imaging
- A small camera photographs the cavity and the restoration is created on the screen using this 3D image
- A ceramic block is milled to reproduce the restoration to fit precisely
- The ceramic restoration is bonded in to position and polished to ensure a smooth, natural feel.

Composite Fillings
Composite resin material in, costs less than porcelain and may be used for tooth coloured fillings to restore a chipped tooth or for composite veneers. They are available in various shades and are bonded to the prepared tooth to match your own tooth. This procedure takes one visit.
